INFORMATION NOTICE ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

As Hassan Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., your personal data and privacy are extremely important to us. Within this scope, we show the utmost respect and sensitivity toward your personal data.

In line with this sensitivity, no data that is not legally required is processed by our Company.

In this information notice regarding our website, the concepts of personal data, special categories of personal data, and data processing are used based on the definitions set forth in the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). In the KVKK, the term “personal data” refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; the term “data subject” refers to the natural person whose personal data is processed; and the term “processing of personal data” refers to any operation performed on personal data such as obtaining, recording, storing, preserving, altering, reorganizing, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making available, classifying, or preventing the use of such data, whether fully or partially by automatic means or by non-automatic means provided that it is part of a data recording system.

As the data controller, within the scope of our legal relationship with you, we hereby inform you that your personal data will be processed in connection with, limited to, and proportionate to the purposes requiring such processing; that the personal data you notify to our Company will be recorded, stored, and preserved by maintaining its accuracy and most up-to-date form as notified; that it will be shared with institutions legally authorized to request such personal data; that it may be processed in other ways stipulated in the KVKK; and that your data will be deleted following the elimination of the reasons requiring its processing and the expiration of the retention periods stipulated in the relevant legislation.

Within the scope of this website, the data controller is HASSAN TEKSTİL SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş., registered with the Istanbul Trade Registry under registration number 524913, with its headquarters located at Akçaburgaz Neighborhood, Hadımköy Yolu Avenue No:88, Esenyurt/Istanbul (hereinafter referred to as the COMPANY).

b. Purposes of Processing Personal Data:

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the KVKK and secondary legislation for the purposes specified below.

If you contact our COMPANY through the communication channels available on this website, the personal data obtained such as name, surname, e-mail address, telephone/fax number, subject of the message, message content, and similar data will be processed for the purposes of assisting you regarding the matter you contacted us about, answering your questions, and providing feedback in order to offer services within the scope of our field of activity, pursuant to Article 5/2-c of the KVKK, based on the legal ground that:

“c) Processing of personal data of the parties to a contract is necessary, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract.”

 

c. Method of Collecting Your Personal Data:

As Hassan Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., your personal data is collected through the completion of the relevant communication fields on our website by you as our visitor and their transmission to our COMPANY.

 

d. Use of Cookies:

During internet use, when you visit any website, a small data file called a “Cookie” is stored on your computer or mobile device via your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Opera, etc.) by the website you visit. e. To Whom and for What Purpose the Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred:

Your personal data collected within the scope of this website is not transferred to any person or institution, except in cases where sharing is mandatory with judicial and administrative authorities pursuant to relevant legislation, unless your explicit consent is obtained.

On the other hand, within the scope of Article 5/2-c of the Personal Data Protection Law, in order to respond to your applications, requests, and complaints submitted via the website or to fulfill the requested service within the scope of our field of activity, your personal data may be shared, provided that it remains within our COMPANY, with authorized personnel employed by the COMPANY for the purposes of evaluating such applications, requests, and complaints and providing feedback.

 

f. Rights of the Personal Data Subject Listed in Article 11 of the KVKK:

As personal data subjects, you may submit your requests regarding your rights to us by using the Data Subject Application Form, through the methods regulated in the Hassan Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. Personal Data Processing and Protection Policy published on the website www.hassan.com.tr.

Our COMPANY will finalize your applications free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the transaction requires an additional cost, the fee determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will be charged by our COMPANY.

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, your rights include:

Learning whether your personal data is processed,

Requesting information if your personal data has been processed,

Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,

Knowing the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,

Requesting correction of personal data if it is processed incompletely or incorrectly and requesting notification of such correction to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,

Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons requiring its processing cease to exist, even though it has been processed in accordance with the KVKK and other relevant laws, and requesting notification of such action to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,

Objecting to the occurrence of a result against the individual by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,

Requesting compensation for damages in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.
